Common use of Error Clause in Contracts

Error. A mistake in design, plans and/or specifications that incorporates into those documents an element that is incorrect and is deficient from the standard of care that a professional engineer in similar circumstances, working on a similar project and location would have exercised. Also includes mistakes in design, plans, specifications and/or shop drawings review that lead to materials and/or equipment being ordered and/or delivered where additional costs are incurred.
