Shorelines of the state are the total of all ‘shorelines’ and ‘shorelines of statewide significance’ within the Town of Woodway.
Shorelines of the state include: Rivers and streams with a mean annual flow of 20 cubic feet per second or more; and Shorelands extending landward two hundred feet in all directions as measured on a horizontal plane from the ordinary high water mark; floodways and contiguous floodplain areas two hundred feet from such floodways; and all associated wetlands and river deltas.
Shorelines of the state are valuable and fragile natural resources and there is great concern relating to their utilization, protection, and restoration.
