Common use of Evergreen Clause Clause in Contracts

Evergreen Clause. This Collective Bargaining Agreement shall be effective as of the day after this Collective Bargaining Agreement is executed by both parties and shall remain in full force and effect until February 2, 2024. The parties shall meet no earlier than 120 days and no later than 90 days prior to the expiration of the Agreement. Should such an agreement not be reached sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, either party may request non-binding mediation that shall result in both parties participating in non-binding mediation through the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) or a mutually agreeable mediator. This Collective Bargaining Agreement shall remain in full force and be effective during the period of discussions and shall remain in full force and effect until such time that a successor Agreement has been reached.
