Common use of Exclusion of Civil Service Law Clause in Contracts

Exclusion of Civil Service Law. Except as expressly otherwise provided in this Agreement or specifically excepted from the scope of collective bargaining by the provisions of Revised Code Chapter 4117, no section of the Civil Service Laws contained in Revised Code Sections 124.01 through 124.56 and R.C. Section 325.19, and all rules and regulations promulgated hereunder shall apply to employees in the bargaining units. It is expressly understood that the Ohio Department of Administrative Services and the State Personnel Board of Review shall have no authority or jurisdiction as it relates to employees in the bargaining units.
