Common use of Expected Year of Service Clause in Contracts

Expected Year of Service. An eligibility computation period during which an Employee in an eligible class is expected to complete a Year of Service. If an Employee who is not expected to complete a Year of Service actually completes a Year of Service during an applicable computation period, he shall be deemed to have become an Employee in the eligible class as of the first day of the eligibility computation period in which he first completes a Year of Service.
