Common use of Expedite and Escalation Procedures Clause in Contracts

Expedite and Escalation Procedures. 72.2.1. Embarq and CLEC shall develop mutually acceptable escalation and expedite procedures which may be invoked at any point in the Service Ordering, Provisioning, Maintenance, and Subscriber Usage Data transfer processes to facilitate rapid and timely resolution of disputes. In addition, Embarq and CLEC will establish intercompany contacts lists for purposes of handling end- user and other matters which require attention/resolution outside of normal business procedures within thirty (30) Days after CLEC’s request. Each Party shall notify the other Party of any changes to its escalation contact list as soon as practicable before such changes are effective. 72.2.2. No later than thirty (30) Days after CLEC’s request Embarq shall provide CLEC with contingency plans for those cases in which normal Service Ordering, Provisioning, Maintenance, Billing, and other procedures for Embarq’s Unbundled Network Elements, features, functions, and resale services are inoperable.
