Explosive Powered Tools. An employee required to use explosive powered tools shall be paid a minimum payment of $1.15 per day. Where an hourly rate is required, it shall be calculated by dividing the rate by 7.6.
Explosive Powered Tools. An operator of explosive powered tools, as defined in this award, who is required to use an explosive powered tool, will be paid $1.25 cents for every day on which they use such a tool.
Explosive Powered Tools. An operator of explosive powered tools, who is required to use an explosive powered tool, will be paid an allowance in accordance with Clause A2 – Allowance table for every day on which they use such a tool.
Explosive Powered Tools. The use of explosive power tools shall be executed in accordance with Regulation 19 of the Construction Regulations. No Principal Contractor shall use or permit any person to use an explosive powered tool, unless:
i. It is provided with a protective guard around the muzzle end, which effectively confines any flying fragments or particles; and
ii. The firing mechanism is so designed that the explosive powered tool will not function unless;
iii. it is held against the surface with a force of at least twice its weight; and
iv. the angle of inclination of the barrel to the work surface is not more than 15 degrees from a right angle:
v. Provided that the provisions of this sub-regulation shall not apply to explosive powered tools in which the energy of the cartridge is transmitted to the bolts, nails or similar relevant objects by means of an intermediate piston which has a limited distance of travel
Explosive Powered Tools. An employee being a qualified operator of any explosive powered tools who is required to use such powered tool shall be paid $1.16 cents for each day on which he/she uses such a tool.

Explosive Powered Tools.
