Payment of Wages on Termination of Employment. On termination of employment, wages due to an employee must be paid 48 hours after clearance of employment procedures have been completed. Clearance of employment procedures must be completed no later than one week following an employee's termination of employment. Provided that where the agreement is sought of the employee or their representative, which may include a union representative the 48 hour period may be extended to 5 working days.

Payment of Wages on Termination of Employment. 15.3.1 On termination of employment, wages will be paid within three working days. 15.3.2 Termination pay will include: a). Payment for hours worked b). Payment for annual leave accrual including leave loading c). Payment of long service leave accrual, if the employee has worked 7 consecutive years and is based on the following: i). The employee's service is terminated by their death ii). The employee terminates their service because of their illness or incapacity or because of a domestic or other pressing necessity iii). The employer dismisses the employee for a reason other than the employee's conduct, capacity or performance; or iv). The employer unfairly dismisses the employee.
