Common use of Extended Child Bonding Leave Clause in Contracts

Extended Child Bonding Leave. After exhausting child/baby bonding leave as identified in Article 14.8.2, an extended leave may be granted to a bargaining unit member. Extended child/baby bonding leave, when combined with child/baby bonding leave as identified in Article 14.8, shall not exceed twelve (12) months, and shall be without compensation, District-paid benefits or credit toward service.
