Extended Sick Leaves. When a bargaining unit member has exhausted his/her accumulated paid sick hours he/she shall go on extended unpaid sick leave. Seniority shall accumulate up to one year.
Extended Sick Leaves. A Full-Time or Part-Time Employee may apply for a leave without pay for a period of up to three (3) month. The request for a leave under this sub-article shall be made in writing and shall state the reason or purpose of the leave requested. The Daycare shall give due consideration to the leave requested and may exercise its discretion to grant or deny the request. During a leave under this sub-article, the employee shall pay the cost of benefits coverage for the benefits plans in which he/she participates. Employees who are on short or long term sick leave, shall be entitled to continuation of benefits for a period equivalent of up to three (3) months after their position has been filled by a temporary employee. After that period, for up to nine additional months, the employee may arrange to have continuation of benefits by providing the employer with payment for the costs of the benefit premium.

  • Extended Sick Leave When sick leave extends for more than 25 consecutive working days, the appointing authority shall initiate the following procedure:

  • Paid Sick Leave For those jurisdictions that have passed or will pass legislation requiring Paid Sick Leave, Paid Sick Time will be billed back to Client at the straight-time bill rate for all hours taken by any Consultant assigned to Client.   • Vacations and Sick Leave The Executive shall be entitled to paid annual vacation leave in accordance with the policies as established from time to time by the Board of Directors, which shall in no event be less than four weeks per annum. The Executive shall also be entitled to an annual sick leave benefit as established by the Board for senior management employees of the Bank. The Executive shall not be entitled to receive any additional compensation from the Bank for failure to take a vacation or sick leave, nor shall he be able to accumulate unused vacation or sick leave from one year to the next; provided, however, such Executive may carry forward from year to year a maximum of ten days of unused vacation leave.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation and sick leave (without loss of pay) in accordance with the most favorable plans, policies, programs and practices of the Company and its affiliated companies as in effect for the Executive at any time during the twelve (12) month period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, as in effect generally at any time thereafter with respect to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.
