Common use of Extension for Successor Agreement Clause in Contracts

Extension for Successor Agreement. If the Parties are engaged in negotiations for a successor Agreement at the time this Agreement expires, then the Association’s and the City’s negotiating teams shall have the authority to extend this Agreement in thirty (30) calendar day/monthly increments by mutual written agreement, during a period of good faith negotiations after such termination date, not to exceed a total of three (3) months.
