The External Liaison clause defines the procedures and responsibilities for communicating and coordinating with parties or organizations outside of the main contractual relationship. Typically, this clause designates specific individuals or roles as points of contact for all external communications, and may outline the approval process for sharing information or collaborating with third parties. Its core function is to ensure that all external interactions are managed consistently and securely, reducing the risk of miscommunication or unauthorized disclosures.
External Liaison. The SR is a liaison between the Local and its Employer and other campus groups (unions, associations, student councils, etc.). The SR provides advice to the Executive Committee with respect to lobbying, public operations of the Local and contact with such organisations as the Executive may determine. The SR may act on behalf of the Executive Committee when directed.
