Extra Assistance. 38.1 When the supervisor determines a need for extra help in the food service or secretarial areas, he/she will request extra assistance from the appropriate building administrator. The building administrator must first approve both the need for and the use of extra help before it is assigned. Any conflicts or disagreements will be resolved by the Superintendent.

Extra Assistance. Any kind of extra assistance (meaning services not described in this document and in the agreement) provided by Show Management to the Exhibitor before, during and after the show will be invoiced by Show Management on hour an hourly basis or upon specific quote or on final balance. In case of last minute requests an extra urgency fee might be applied by show Management.

This assistance includes steadying a Passenger or providing a helping hand as the Passenger ascends or descends the stairs, assistance in getting to or from the seat, and assistance with loading and retrieving carry-on items and other assistive devices stowed on board. Employees are not permitted, however, to lift or carry Passengers on board the aircraft or assist with medical services. As the safest seating arrangement for such Passenger may vary with the situation and with the aircraft type, Advanced Air, LLC may offer to pre-board the Passenger or may suggest boarding the Passenger last for access to the most accessible seat. Traveling with your own wheelchair: One wheelchair per Passenger will be accepted and transported at no additional charge. Advance notice to reservations is required recommended due to space limitations on the aircraft. For transport in the King Air 350, only collapsible, non-motorized wheelchairs (or other assistive devices) are accepted due to the space limitations of the aircraft. Early check-in is also recommended for all Passengers with wheelchairs so that there is adequate time to load the wheelchair on board and offer any special assistance that may be needed. Extra Assistance. When appropriate, outside agencies such as Child and Mental Health Services (CAHMS), DECD Support Services, and Family and Youth Services (FAYS) may need to be contacted in order to work with the school for the wellbeing of the student concerned. Parent permission is required. Students and their parent/caregiver, when returning from suspension or exclusion, are expected to participate in a re- entry meeting prior to returning to class programs or the yard. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that all stake holders have a common understanding of the expectations around student behaviour and to ensure that actions are taken where possible to make the student more successful.   • Legal Assistance The Board shall give full support including legal and other assistance for any assault upon the employee while properly acting in the discharge of his/her duties.

The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee.   • Technical Assistance DFPS may provide informal support, guidance, clarification, and other forms of technical assistance via phone, email, and virtual meeting to resolve Grant or performance compliance issues. Grantee will document all such instances of technical assistance by DFPS in writing, including any implementation work.

  • Audit Assistance Each of the Parties and their respective Subsidiaries are or may be subject to regulation and audit by a Governmental Authority (including a Taxing Authority), standards organizations, customers or other parties to contracts with such Parties or their respective Subsidiaries under applicable Law, standards or contract provisions. If a Governmental Authority, standards organization, customer or other party to a contract with a Party or its Subsidiary exercises its right to examine or audit such Party’s or its Subsidiary’s books, records, documents or accounting practices and procedures pursuant to such applicable Law, standards or contract provisions, and such examination or audit relates to the Services, then the other Party shall provide, at the sole cost and expense of the requesting Party, all assistance reasonably requested by the Party that is subject to the examination or audit in responding to such examination or audits or requests for Information, to the extent that such assistance or Information is within the reasonable control of the cooperating Party and is related to the Services.

  • Educational Assistance Section 1. Tuition reimbursement shall be provided to employees covered by this collective bargaining AGREEMENT under the same terms and conditions, policies and procedures as the rest of Hennepin County and reflecting a county–wide pool for funding. Where courses are required and certified by the appointing authority as essential to current job performance, such appointing authority shall grant 100% reimbursement for tuition, required fees and required study materials. Section 3. At the request of an employee, an Individual Development Plan shall be established. Any employee making the request shall be provided with paid time to work with their Supervisor or Human Resources to develop a training plan for career development within Hennepin County. Human Resources will be a source of career information, and postings, in which the employee may have an interest. Time allotted for this activity and the training plan adopted shall be subject to mutual agreement of the Employee and Supervisor.

  • Emergency Assistance Both Parties shall exercise due diligence to avoid or mitigate an Emergency to the extent practical in accordance with applicable requirements imposed by the Standards Authority or contained in the PJM Tariffs and NYISO Tariffs. In avoiding or mitigating an Emergency, both Parties shall strive to allow for commercial remedies, but if commercial remedies are not successful or practical, the Parties agree to be the suppliers of last resort to maintain reliability on the system. For each hour during which Emergency conditions exist in a Party’s Balancing Authority Area, that Party (while still ensuring operations within applicable Reliability Standards) shall determine what commercial remedies are available and make use of those that are practical and needed to avoid or mitigate the Emergency before any Emergency Energy is scheduled in that hour.

  • Transition Assistance If this Contract is not renewed at the end of this term, if the Contract is otherwise terminated before project completion, or if particular work on a project is terminated for any reason, Contractor shall provide transition assistance for a reasonable, mutually agreed period of time after the expiration or termination of this Contract or particular work under this Contract. The purpose of this assistance is to allow for the expired or terminated portion of the services to continue without interruption or adverse effect, and to facilitate the orderly transfer of such services to State or its designees. The parties agree that such transition assistance is governed by the terms and conditions of this Contract, except for those terms or conditions that do not reasonably apply to such transition assistance. State shall pay Contractor for any resources utilized in performing such transition assistance at the most current Contract rates. If State terminates a project or this Contract for cause, then State may offset the cost of paying Contractor for the additional resources Contractor utilized in providing transition assistance with any damages State may have sustained as a result of Contractor’s breach.

  • Mutual Assistance The Parties will do all things reasonably necessary or appropriate to carry out the terms and provisions of this Agreement and to aid and assist each other in carrying out such terms and provisions.

  • Directory Assistance 72.1 The Parties acknowledge that CenturyLink is not a Directory Assistance (DA) provider. CenturyLink provides directory listings information for its subscribers to third party DA providers to be included in the national and local databases used by such third party providers. The Parties agree that to the extent the DA provider contracted by CLEC for DA services to CLEC’s subscribers also populates the national DA database, then CLEC’s DA listings have been made available to CenturyLink’s subscribers and no further effort is needed by either Party. If for any reason, CLEC desires that CenturyLink act as a middleman conduit for the placement of CLEC’s DA listings in the DA database(s), then CenturyLink shall provide such compensable DA listings service pursuant to separate written terms and conditions between CenturyLink and CLEC which will be attached to this Agreement as an Amendment.
