Faculty Applying for Management Positions. a. A faculty member may apply for an open management position at the College. The application process must include faculty input. b. If hired into the management position they applied for, the faculty member shall be granted up to two (2) years leave of absence from the faculty bargaining unit. During that time, the faculty member's seniority is unaffected and continues to accrue. c. A faculty member on leave in a management assignment may be replaced by an instructor on a one (1) year temporary contract.
