Failure to Obtain DMV Licensing Requirements. In the event an incumbent employee is unable to obtain the commercial license, and/or specific certification required, every effort will be made to reassign that individual to a position, not requiring a commercial license and if necessary that employee's salary will be "Y" rated until they are able to obtain their commercial license or transfer to another classification/position which does not require a commercial license or special certification.
