Shift Pay. Each full-time employee scheduled to work on any shift commencing after 9:00 a.m. shall be paid a shift premium of seventy- five cents ($0.75) per hour for all hours worked by him/her on that shift and overtime hours worked in continuity with such shift. Shift premiums payable under this provision shall not be included as part of the employee’s regular pay for purposes of computing overtime pay.
Shift Pay. All bargaining unit members are eligible for and working rotating shifts and, therefore, shall annually receive six hundred dollars ($600.00), to be paid quarterly consistent with uniform maintenance allowance.
Shift Pay. An employee working other than normal, day shift hours will be paid an additional percentage of base pay as shown below while working during the shift identified: 2nd shift – 2.5% 3rd shift – 5% Employees paid on an hourly basis will not be permitted to change shifts with each other for personal convenience or other reasons without written approval of the Management. If such an approval is received and one person works for the other, the employee who actually works the shift in questions will not be paid at the overtime rate if, because of working this shift, the total hours worked in that week run over forty (40) hours.
Shift Pay. Unit employees who are assigned to certain shifts shall receive extra pay as follows:
Shift Pay. Any shift starting between the hours of 6:00 pm and midnight inclusive shall receive an additional one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked that shift and shall be consistent with the above hourly minimums in 5.4.
Shift Pay. Any custodian and maintenance that works at a regular shift where the majority of the assigned hours are after 3:00 p.m. shall be paid an additional twenty-five cents ($0.25) per hour over the regular rate of pay for all hours worked on that shift.
Shift Pay. 14:01 Members of the Police Service who are assigned to work rotating shifts (i.e. required to change from one shift to another), will be paid the following shift premiums: Afternoon shift (i.e. shifts beginning between 1200 hours and 1800 hours and ending between 2000 hours and 0400 hours) - Twenty cents (.20) per hour for shift hours worked.
14:02 Afternoon shift premium for all afternoon shift hours worked between 1800 hours Friday and 0400 hours Sunday - thirty – five cents (.35) per hour. Night shift (i.e. shifts beginning between 1800 hours and 0400 hours and ending the following morning) – thirty-five cents (.35) per hour for shift hours worked.
Shift Pay. An employee who is scheduled to work not less than four (4) hours of the employee’s regular work shift during the evening (swing) shift or night (graveyard) shift shall receive the following shift premiums for all scheduled hours worked during such shift: Effective December 30, 2015 SWING SHIFT $.75 per hour
Shift Pay a. Employees assigned to a swing shift shall receive a shift differential of 3% of base salary just for the days when the swing shift occurs.
b. Employees assigned to a night shift shall receive a shift differential of 6% of base salary.
c. An employee assigned to a shift which qualifies as both a swing shift and a night shift (e.g., a shift from 8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.) is considered a night shift in determining eligibility of shift pay. The parties agree that to the extent permitted by law, the compensation for shift pay is special compensation and shall be reported as such pursuant to Title 2 CCR, Section 571(a)(4) and 571.1(b)(3) Shift Differential
Shift Pay. Shift pay is for an assigned shift other than the regularly scheduled day shift. Shift pay shall be paid to employees for working ongoing shifts outside the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
