Falling of Trees. (a) The Employer shall ensure that those employees who are required to fall trees shall, prior to doing so, make themselves thoroughly familiar with the Fallers and Buckers Handbook (issued by the Workers' Compensation Board). (b) The Employer shall ensure that prior to using falling equipment, employees have received instruction in the use of said equipment and demonstrate their competency in its use.
