Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest.
(a) When a paid holiday falls on a regular full-time employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu of the holiday.
(b) If a regular full-time employee is called in to work on the day designated as the lieu day pursuant to (a) above, he/she shall be compensated at time and one-half for all hours worked.
Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest. When a paid holiday falls on a regular employee's day of rest, the Employer will make every reasonable effort to give the employee a lieu day off with pay on the first regularly scheduled workday following the day of rest so affected. Where this is not possible, the lieu day will be scheduled by mutual agreement and taken within six months of the day in which it was earned. An employee may, by mutual agreement, take lieu days off together with their vacation in accordance with Clause 18.5 (Vacation Schedules).
Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest. 32.3.1 When a day, except Boxing Day, designated as a holiday under sub-clause
32.1 coincides with an employee's day of rest, the holiday shall be moved to the employee's first normal working day following his day of rest. Boxing Day shall be observed on the first normal working day immediately following the calendar day on which Christmas Day is granted as a designated holiday.
32.3.2 When a day designated as a holiday for an employee is moved to another day under the provisions of sub-clause 32.3.1;
32.3.2.1 work performed by an employee on the day from which the holiday was moved shall be considered as work performed on a day of rest, and
32.3.2.2 work performed by an employee on the day to which the holiday was moved, shall be considered as work performed on a holiday.
Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest. When a day designated as a holiday under Clause 16.01 coincides with an employee's day of rest, the holiday shall be moved to the employee's first working day following his/her day of rest.
Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest. When a day designated as a holiday under clause 17.01 coincides with an employee's day of rest, the holiday shall be moved to the employee's first working day following his/her day of rest.
Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest. For employees who do not work a Monday-through-Friday schedule, should a paid holiday fall on an employee's scheduled day of rest, the employee shall observe the holiday with pay at a time mutually agreed to between the employee and the employee's immediate supervisor.
Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest. When a day, except Boxing Day, designated as a holiday under clause 15.01 coincides with an employee's day of rest, the holiday shall be moved to the employee's first normal working day following his/her day of rest. Boxing Day shall be observed on the first normal working day immediately following the calendar day on which Christmas Day is granted as a designated holiday.
Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest. When a day designated as a holiday coincides with the Nurse’s day of rest, the Employer shall grant the holiday with pay on either:
(a) the working day immediately following her day of rest; or
(b) the day following the Nurse’s annual vacation; or
(c) another mutually acceptable day between the Employer and the Nurse. If the holiday is not scheduled in accordance with (a) or (b) or (c), above, it will be paid.
Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest. When a paid holiday falls on an employee's day of rest, and the employee does not work the holiday, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to give the employee a lieu day off with pay on the first regularly scheduled work day following the day of rest so affected. Where this is not possible, the lieu day shall be taken at a mutually agreeable time. When a paid holiday is moved to another day under the provisions of this Clause:
(a) work performed by an employee on the day from which the holiday was moved shall be considered as work performed on a day of rest; and
(b) work performed by an employee on the day to which the holiday was moved shall be considered as work performed on a holiday.
Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest. When a calendar day designated as a holiday under Clause 12.01 coincides with an employee's day of rest, the employee shall receive seven point five (7.5) hours off in lieu of the holiday at a later date approved by the Employer. If such time off is not granted within sixty (60) days of the scheduled holiday, the employee shall receive pay at the applicable rate of pay.
