False or Misleading Information. ‌ (a) The Recipient acknowledges that giving false or misleading information to the Commonwealth is a serious offence under section 137.1 of the Criminal Code Act 1995 (Criminal Code). (b) The Recipient must ensure that all Project Partners and any subcontractor engaged in connection with the Agreement acknowledges the information contained in this clause. Note: Under section 137 of the Criminal Code giving false or misleading information to a Commonwealth entity is an offence, but only if the Commonwealth entity took reasonable steps to inform the person of the offence.
