Family Preservation. Family Preservation (FP) services 9 typically are designed to help families alleviate crises that might lead to 10 out-of-home placement of children; maintain the safety of children in their 11 own homes; and assist families in obtaining services and other supports 12 necessary to address their multiple needs in a culturally responsive manner. 13 Services should comprise approximately twenty-five (25) percent of the budget 14 for total services. FaCT-funded services must address a minimum of one (1) of 15 the PSSF outcomes for each contracted service (as specified in Subparagraph 16 2.5 below).
