Fax and E-Mail Access for Non-Urgent Matters. You will be given the Provider's fax number and e-mail address to which you can send non-urgent messages. These communications will be handled by a staff member of the Practice in a timely manner, including a reasonably prompt response to you by the Provider or by the staff member. E-mails will typically receive a response within two (2) business days. If you do not receive a timely response, you should call the Practice directly or try an alternate means of communication. In order to receive a response by e-mail or text message, you will be required to sign the Practice’s form outlining its policy on unsecured electronic communications. Again, all medical emergencies should be directed to 911 or the nearest emergency room, not the Practice.
