FEDERAL AND STATE TAX. 11.1. The City is exempt from payment of Florida state sales and use taxes. The Consultant shall not be exempted from paying sales tax to its suppliers for materials used to fulfill contractual obligations with the City, nor is the Consultant authorized to use the City's tax exemption number in securing such materials. 11.2. The Consultant shall be responsible for payment of its own and its share of its employees' payroll, payroll taxes, and benefits with respect to this Contract.
