Review of Work, Rejection of Defective Work, Inspections and Tests. (1) Conduct on-site observations of the work in progress to assist CTI in determining if the work is in general proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Review of Work, Rejection of Defective Work, Inspections and Tests o Conduct on-site observations of the work in progress to assist ENGINEER in determining if the work is in general proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents. o Report to ENGINEER whenever XXX believes that any work is unsatisfactory, faulty or defective or does not conform to the Contract Documents, or has been damaged, or does not meet the requirements of any review, test or approval required to be made; and advise ENGINEER of work that CRR believes should be corrected or rejected or should be uncovered for observation, or requires special testing, inspection or approval. o Verify that test, equipment and systems startups and operating and maintenance training are conducted in the presence of appropriate personnel, and that Contractor maintains adequate records thereof; and observe, record and report to ENGINEER appropriate details relative to the test procedures and startups. o Accompany visiting inspectors representing public or other agencies having jurisdiction over the Project, record the results of these inspections and report these results to ENGINEER.

  • REVIEW OF WORK The Consultant shall permit the City, its agents and/or employees to review, at any time, all work performed pursuant to the terms of this Agreement at any stage of the work;

  • CORRECTION OF WORK 13.2.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for correcting all Work which the Architect has found to be defective or which fails to conform to the Contract Documents whether observed be- fore or after Substantial Completion and whether or not fabricated, installed or completed. The Contractor shall bear all costs of correcting such rejected Work, including compensation for the Architect's and the State’s additional services made necessary thereby. The Architect, upon a finding of defect or failure to conform, shall immediately notify the State and Contractor, in writing, of the defect. The Contractor shall begin correcting the defective or non-conforming Work within ten (10) days unless the State agrees to a Change Order which reflects the reduction in Contract Sum due to the value of diminishment of the defective or nonconforming Work.

  • Rejection of Work Using the Notice of Non-Conforming Work procedures outlined in the General Conditions, the Design Professional shall reject work that does not comply with the requirements of the Contract Documents or that does not comply with the applicable laws and codes. The Design Professional shall have authority to order testing of the Work, as is provided in the Contract Documents or as otherwise required in its judgment, whether such work is fabricated, installed, or completed.

  • Scope of Work The Contractor has overall responsibility for and shall provide and furnish all materials, equipment, tools and labor as necessary or reasonably inferable to complete the Work, or any phase of the Work, in accordance with the Owner’s requirements and the terms of the Contract Documents.
