Federal Occupational Safety and Health Law Contractor represents and warrants that all articles and services shall meet or exceed the safety standards established and promulgated under the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended (29 U.S.C. Chapter 15).
Federal Regulations No part of the proceeds of any Loans will be used for "purchasing" or "carrying" any "margin stock" within the respective meanings of each of the quoted terms under Regulation U as now and from time to time hereafter in effect or for any purpose that violates the provisions of the Regulations of the Board. If requested by any Lender or the Administrative Agent, the Borrower will furnish to the Administrative Agent and each Lender a statement to the foregoing effect in conformity with the requirements of FR Form G-3 or FR Form U-1 referred to in Regulation U.
Federal Government COMPANY acknowledges that the U.S. federal government retains a royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to practice any government-funded invention claimed in any PATENT RIGHTS as set forth in 35 U.S.C. §§ 201-211, and the regulations promulgated thereunder, as amended, or any successor statutes or regulations.
FEDERAL AND STATE TAX The County is exempt from Federal and State Sales and Use Taxes for tangible personal property (Certificate of Registry for tax transactions under Chapter 32, Internal Revenue Code and Florida Sales/Use Tax Exemption Certificate). The Manager, Procurement Division will sign an exemption certificate submitted by the Contractor. Contractors doing business with the County shall not be exempted from paying sales tax to their suppliers for materials to fulfill contractual obligations with the County, nor shall any Contractor be authorized to use the County’s Tax Exemption Number in securing such materials.
Federal and State Laws In the event that any provision of this Agreement should be modified or deleted to conform to any federal or state law or regulation, or any order, determination or ruling or regulation of a federal or state administrative agency or court, the Company shall notify the Union in writing. Negotiations shall then take place if requested by the Union. In the event of such negotiations, the changes proposed by the Company shall not be implemented until (a) agreement is reached, or (b) the Company determines that timely action is required by the law, regulation, order, determination or ruling, which ever occurs sooner.
Federal Reserve Regulations No part of the proceeds of the Loan will be used for the purpose of purchasing or acquiring any “margin stock” within the meaning of Regulation U of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System or for any other purpose which would be inconsistent with such Regulation U or any other Regulations of such Board of Governors, or for any purposes prohibited by Legal Requirements or by the terms and conditions of this Agreement or the other Loan Documents.
Minimum Wage The Contractor and the Surety, in consideration of the award of this Contract to the said Contractor, jointly and severally for themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, and successors or assigns hereby agree to pay all employees in and about the construction or performance of the work under this Contract in accordance with the schedule of wages contained in the Instructions to Bidders for work in any trade or occupation listed therein. The Contractor shall make wage reports as required by said Instructions. Strict compliance with said minimum wage requirements is demanded by the Owner and shall be considered as of the essence of this Contract. It is hereby agreed that the City of Milwaukee by its Milwaukee Board of School Directors shall have the right at all times to examine all persons employed upon the project by the Contractor and carryon and make such investigations as it may deem necessary to see that the terms of this agreement, relating to such wage payments, are being fully observed.
FEDERAL ASSURANCES Grantee further certifies that, to the extent Federal Assurances are incorporated into the Contract under the Signature Document, the Grantee has reviewed the Federal Assurances and that Grantee is in compliance with all requirements.
