Common use of Field Verification and Quote Preparation Clause in Contracts

Field Verification and Quote Preparation. (FVQP). This rate element is a pre-order work effort to estimate the cost of providing UDF access to CLEC at locations other than CenturyLink Wire Centers. CenturyLink will prepare a quotation which will explain what work activities, timeframes, and additional costs, including recurring and non-recurring costs, are associated with providing access to this FDP location. This quotation will be good for thirty (30) Days. The FVQP is not necessary when the request is between CenturyLink Wire Centers (i.e., simple IRI). If FVQP is applicable pursuant to this section and CLEC orders UDF that has been reserved after a Field Verification has been performed, then the charge for FVQP will be reduced by the amount of the Engineering Verification charge assessed in the context of the reservation.
