Filter Specification. Fluorocarbon coated glass fibre filters or fluorocarbon based membrane filters are required for certification tests. For special applications different filter materials may be used. All filter types shall have a 0.3 µm DOP (di-octylphthalate) collection efficiency of at least 95% at a gas face velocity between 40 and 80 cm/s. When performing correlation tests between laboratories or between a manufacturer and a regulatory agency, filters of identical quality must be used.
