Common use of Final Appeal to the President Clause in Contracts

Final Appeal to the President. If the Xxxxxxx upholds the promotion denial, the 35 bargaining unit faculty member may appeal to the President or designee in writing, within 10 36 days of the issuance of the Xxxxxxx’x decision. The President will review the file materials, 37 including the committee report, and issue a written decision to the bargaining unit faculty 38 member within 21 days of receipt of the written appeal. The President’s decision is final and 39 binding and is not subject to further grievance, arbitration or further appeal.
