Common use of First Appearance Compensation Clause in Contracts

First Appearance Compensation. In addition to the payment set forth in 2.1 above, the Attorney shall receive an addition $2000.00 for each month assigned to such Attorney under the terms of this contract for the purpose of advising defendants making their first appearance in criminal cases who have not retained private counsel at the time of such appearance. This additional compensation will be paid in full at the end the month for which services are rendered.
