– Fit for Duty Exam. If an employee is believed to be physically or mentally unfit for work, employee may be required to undergo an examination from the City physician (or other healthcare provider) at the direction and expense of the City. If the City-provided physician disagrees with the employee's physician, a third opinion from a mutually agreeable physician may be requested with the employee and City equally sharing the cost.
