Common use of Five-day working week Clause in Contracts

Five-day working week. A five-day working week is taken to be a working week with two consecutive days off, preferably at the weekend, preceded and followed by a full night's rest. The journalist shall at least be entitled to an uninterrupted rest period of 36 hours in every consecutive period of 7 times 24 hours, or an uninterrupted rest period of 72 hours in every consecutive period of 14 times 24 hours, and it shall be possible to split the rest time into uninterrupted rest periods of at least 32 hours each.
