Sunday Work. Employees required to work overtime on Sundays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time. The double time is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty.
Sunday Work. All work performed by employees (other than shift workers) on a Sunday shall be paid for at the rate of double time and a half.
Sunday Work. Any work which begins on a Sunday (see 1.35).
Sunday Work. No work shall be performed on a Sunday without the permission of the Regional Chamber, and whenever an employee, other than a normal shift worker, is required or permitted to work on a Sunday, his employer shall either:
(a) pay the employee:
(i) if he so works for a period not exceeding four hours, not less than the ordinary wage payable in respect of the period ordinarily worked by him on a weekday; or
(ii) if he so works for a period exceeding four hours, wages, at a rate of not less than double his ordinary rate of pay, in respect of the total period worked on such Sunday, or the wage which is not less than double the ordinary wage payable in respect of the period ordinarily worked by him on a weekday, whichever is the greater; or
(b) pay the employee not less than one and a half times his ordinary hourly wage in respect of each hour worked on such Sunday and grant him within seven days of such Sunday, one work day, i.e. a day other than a Saturday or Sunday, as a holiday, and pay him in respect thereof not less than eight and a half hours' remuneration: Provided that for the purposes of this subclause, a piece-worker shall be paid not less than the equivalent amount to which he would have been entitled had he been employed as a time-worker.
Sunday Work. 11.1 All time worked by an employee (not being the ordinary rostered hours of duty of such employee) on a Sunday will be paid for at the rate of double time until completion of the shift at normal rate of pay or assigned incident responsibility rate whichever is the greater.
Sunday Work a. Except for Operating employees and those part-time em- ployees identified in paragraph c. below, employees scheduled to work a Sunday tour shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (11/2) times the basic hourly rate for the first eight (8) hours worked.
b. For Operating employees, Sunday work shall be paid for at the rate of one and one-half (11/2) times the basic hourly rate for the normal tour worked, except that if an Operating employee works on three (3) or more con- secutive Sundays all at the direction of Management, such work on the third and subsequent consecutive Sun- days shall be paid for at twice the basic hourly rate. When an Operating employee shall work on Sunday as a result of a trade of assignments by mutual agreement with another employee, no such time worked shall be construed as Sunday work in determining the number of consecutive Sundays worked.
c. Part-time employees hired on or after January 1, 1981, and who work in Customer Service Centers, Phone Booths (Kiosks), DM/DR (Direct Marketing/Direct Response) Centers and any equivalent retail sales or service center operation, payment for all hours worked, except for overtime hours worked, shall be made at the equivalent basic hourly rate for a comparable full-time employee working a normal daily tour in the same job title, classi- fication, and work group. Any employee who is on the active payroll of the Company as of December 31, 1980, and who works part-time on or after January 1, 1981, shall thereafter continue, during the current term of em- ployment, to be paid on the same basis as provided in paragraph a. preceding.
Sunday Work. Employees who are scheduled to work on Sunday shall be paid time and one- quarter (1 1/4) rates for their scheduled eight (8) hour tour of duty on that day. For other work on Sunday, employees shall not receive a Sunday premium rate but shall be paid the appropriate overtime or schedule change premium rate. The Company will replace tools owned by employees which have become broken, worn out, unsafe, lost or stolen, while used by the employee on Company work. The tools available as replacements shall be good quality, standard manufacture, and safe for the jobs for which they are intended. When tools have been lost or stolen, employees will so certify in a written application for replacement. Broken or worn out tools will be turned in when the new tool is received.
Sunday Work. Where an employee is required to work on a Sunday, that employee will be paid at two (2) times the base rate for all time worked with a minimum payment of 4 hours.
Sunday Work. Any employee (other than a seven day shift worker) who is employed on a Sunday shall for all time worked on that day be paid at the rate of double time. Provided that where, by agreement between an employer and the union and such agreement shall not be unreasonably withheld shifts are rearranged to commence on Sunday instead of Monday ordinary rates shall be paid for Sunday work.
Sunday Work. All work performed on Sunday shall be paid at straight time rates plus a premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour (fifty cents ($0.50) for each full half hour worked). For purposes of the Collective Agreement, Sunday is considered the first (1st) day of the basic work week and in the event an employee worked in excess of the basic work week, as set out in Subsection (a), the last such day or days worked in such weeks shall be considered as the day or days for which overtime applies.
(1) Work on Sunday shall be voluntary.
(2) Sunday work shall be considered as "available hours" and shall be offered according to seniority.
(3) Employees shall notify management at the beginning of each two (2) month period of their availability to work on Sundays.
(4) If sufficient employees are not available to work on Sundays, the Employer shall have the right to schedule hours according to "reverse seniority", provided the employee has the ability to perform the work required.
(5) Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is understood that the Employer may require "key personnel" to work on Sundays.
