Common use of Flight Insurance Clause in Contracts

Flight Insurance. Where a principal performer is requested by Producer to travel by plane, Producer shall pay the principal performer an additional fee of $11.80 for flight insurance. When a Producer requests a principal performer to fly by a non-commercial or non-scheduled carrier, Producer shall obtain a short-term insurance policy for the principal performer providing insurance equal to the amount available for $11.80 on a commercial carrier. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the maximum insurance required under this Section shall be the maximum amount reasonably available in the ordinary course of business from an insurance company.
