FMLA Leave to Care for an Active Duty Service Member. To the extent required by applicable law, an eligible nurse is entitled to up to twelve (12) weeks of unpaid leave during any 12-month period because of any qualifying exigency as defined by the Department of Labor arising out of the fact that the spouse, son, daughter or parent of the nurse is on active duty in the Armed Forces in support of a contingency operation.
