FOR PERSONS EMPLOYED PRIOR TO January 5, 2014. a. An employee who accrues vacation leave pursuant to subsection 9.A.1. and who leaves the County service for any reason shall be paid at the biweekly or hourly rate for each classification as set forth in Appendix A-1, for unused vacation accrued to the date of his/her separation, provided that such entitlement shall not exceed the employee’s applicable maximum vacation balance as set forth in subsection 9.C.
