For Planning and Grade Report Preparation. Early release for planning and grade report preparation shall be in accordance with the provisions found in Appendix A and consistent with the following: a. High School employees will adopt a three-day final testing schedule that provides for early release (two and one half (2½) hours each day) of students following exams each day at the end of each semester except for the last day of school which is a two (2)-hour student day. b. Grades K-8 teachers shall have at least two (2) hours of release time two (2) days per grading report time. c. Full-time kindergarten teachers with two (2) sections shall have one (1) half-day (½-day) additional release time two (2) times per year at grading report time. d. Report cards at the K-5 level are to be completed by the Tuesday following the last grading day. Report cards will go home to students no sooner than two (2) days following the above mentioned report card completion date.
