Formal Grievance Procedure – Step Two. 1. If the grievance is not resolved in Step One, the grievant may, within five (5) working days of receipt of the principal’s written answer in Step One, appeal to the Superintendent of Schools by filing the grievance and the principal’s answer along with any written response by the grievant with the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee. If the written grievance is not filed with the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee within five (5) working days following the principal’s response in Step One, the grievance shall be deemed waived and shall not thereafter be processed.
