Bachelor’s degree in Law • Qualified to practice law in Malaysia Experience, Skills and Knowledge • Minimum 5 years of corporate/commercial legal experience • Prior experience in the upstream oil and gas industry • Knowledge and experience managing production sharing contracts, including engagement with PETRONAS • Experience in drafting, negotiating and managing joint operating agreements, procurement contracts and product sales agreements • Experience in domestic oil and gas acquisitions and divestiture, joint ventures, finance transactions and other energy-related commercial transactions • Ability to utilize legal concepts in conjunction with company objectives to resolve complex legal issues • Sound and up to date professional legal knowledge • Ability to anticipate risk and issues
