Common use of Formal Step Two Clause in Contracts

Formal Step Two. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance in Step One, he/she 42 may schedule a meeting to submit it on the adopted form to the Superintendent or his/her designee no later 43 than ten working days after the written response was received in Step One. The Superintendent or his/her 44 designee shall submit a written response no later than ten working days after the Step Two meeting. Should 45 the response be a rejection of the grievance, the Superintendent or his/her designee will summarize his/her 46 reasons for so ruling.
