Common use of Formal Step Two Clause in Contracts

Formal Step Two. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance in step one, s/he may schedule a meeting to submit it on the adopted form to the Superintendent or his/her designee no later than ten days after the written response was received in step one. The Superintendent, or his/her designee, shall submit a written response no later than ten working days after the step two meeting. Should the response be a rejection of the grievance, the Superintendent, or his/her designee, will summarize his/her reasons for so ruling.
