Formal Written Grievance (Director of Transit’s Designee. 268. Within thirty (30) calendar days of the occurrence of a non-disciplinary event alleged to constitute a grievance or within seven (7) calendar days of a final disciplinary decision, the grievant shall present a grievance, in writing, to a manager designated by the Director of Transit. A representative of the Transport Workers Union Local 250-A shall be permitted to be present when the grievance is presented. If the grievant requests a meeting, the Director of Transit’s Designee shall schedule a meeting within the seven (7) calendar days and a representative of the Transport Workers Union Local 250- A shall be permitted to be present. The Director of Transit’s Designee shall communicate the decision in writing to the grievant and to the Transport Workers Union Local 250-A, within fourteen (14) calendar days after receiving the grievance.
