In formulating community development plans and programs, the County and Cities will consider the following issues: (a) Scheduling of capital improvements that are coordinated with and meet the capital needs identified in the School Board’s Five–Year District Facilities Work Program; (b) Providing incentives to the private sector to identify and implement creative solutions to developing adequate school facilities in residential developments; (c) Targeting community development improvements in older and distressed neighborhoods near schools; and (d) Working to address and resolve multi-jurisdictional public school issues.
