FOUR DAY WORK WEEKS. Note: In the event the provisions of California law governing alternative workweeks (Labor Code Section 511) are deemed applicable to collectively bargained-for employees, the scheduling of a 4 day work week with 10 hour shifts shall be governed by the provisions of that Section, but only to the extent the provisions of this Section 7.5 are inconsistent with the provisions of Labor Code Section 511. Any provisions of this Section that are not inconsistent with the provisions of Labor Code Section 511 shall have full force and effect.

FOUR DAY WORK WEEKS a. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 7.01, the Company may establish a four (4) day work week, composed of four (4) ten (10) hour tours, as a normal forty (40) hour work week. In such cases, the total number of hours constituting a five (5) day normal work week will be scheduled over four (4) days of the calendar week, with at least two (2) consecutive days off, and where business needs permit, three (3) consecutive days off.

  • Four Day Work Week 28 1. If a holiday falls on an employee's first or second scheduled day 29 off, the preceding work day will be observed as that employee's holiday, or the 30 employee may choose to bank the holiday leave hours.

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District.   • Work Day and Work Week (A) The normal hours of work for all full-time employees shall be thirty-five (35) hours per week, or seventy (70) hours per two consecutive weeks. All employees are entitled to thirty-two (32) consecutive hours free from work each week, unless overtime rates are paid, as per Article 29.02.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.
