Framework for Resolution Clause Samples

The "Framework for Resolution" clause establishes the procedures and guidelines for resolving disputes or disagreements that may arise under the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the steps parties must follow, such as negotiation, mediation, or arbitration, before pursuing litigation. For example, it may require both parties to attempt good-faith negotiations within a set timeframe before escalating the matter to a neutral third party. The core function of this clause is to provide a clear, structured process for addressing conflicts, thereby minimizing uncertainty and reducing the likelihood of protracted or costly legal battles.

Health and safety matters may be exempted where appropriate. 23.1.4 No party is prejudiced as to final settlement of the dispute by continuing to work during the dispute.
