Fringe Benefit Statement. All certified employees shall utilize the moneys established in the fringe benefit package for the purchase of at least a single membership in the school district’s group health plan. Each eligible certified employee shall receive $6,744 for fringe benefits. Certified employees hired before July 1, 1991, and who currently receive the fringe benefit as cash-in- lieu-of, will be grandfathered in and receive the fringe benefit as cash-in-lieu-of if their spouse is employed and their employer requires them to participate in their company’s health plan or lose the benefit.

  • Dependent Care Salary Reduction Plan The Employer agrees to maintain the current dependent care salary reduction plan that allows eligible employees, covered by this Agreement, the option to participate in a dependent care reimbursement program for work-related dependent care expenses on a pretax basis as permitted by federal tax law or regulation.

  • BENEFIT FUND The Trustees are authorized and directed to establish a study committee to review the legality, feasibility and desirability of setting up and maintaining an employee funded Section 125 Flexible Spending Account (FSA).   • Sick Leave to Establish EI Maternity Benefits If the Employee will be able to establish a new EI Maternity Benefit claim in the six weeks immediately following the birth of her child through access to sick leave at 100% of her regular salary, she shall be eligible for up to six weeks leave at 100% of her regular salary without deduction from the sick days or short term disability leave days (remainder of six weeks topped-up as SEB).
