Common use of FSSA Ongoing Monitoring Clause in Contracts

FSSA Ongoing Monitoring. The FSSA shall conduct ongoing monitoring of the Contractor to ensure compliance with Contract requirements and performance standards. The method and frequency of monitoring is at the discretion of the FSSA and may include, but is not limited to, both scheduled and unannounced onsite visits, review of policies and procedures and performance reporting. Reporting requirements are detailed further in Section 9.0 and the Reporting Manual to be developed by the State. The reviews will identify and make recommendations for areas of improvement, monitor the Contractor's progress towards implementing mandated programs or operational enhancements, and provide the Contractor with technical assistance when necessary. In preparation for planned onsite reviews, the Contractor shall cooperate with FSSA by forwarding in advance policies, procedures, job descriptions, contracts, records, logs and other material upon request. Documents not requested in advance shall be made available during the course of the review. Contractor personnel shall be available at all times during review activities.
