Further Study. 11.5.4.1 Leave of absence for further study may be granted for approved courses of study for not less than fifteen (15) hours of credit for the school year. A teacher who fails to comply with this requirement will not be entitled to leave of absence benefits. 11.5.4.2 Request for leave of absence for further study submitted after June 30 will not be considered. 11.5.4.3 Exceptions may be granted subject to the approval of the Human Resources department.
