Common use of Future Conflicting Initiatives or Referenda Clause in Contracts

Future Conflicting Initiatives or Referenda. If any New Rule is enacted or imposed by a citizen-sponsored initiative or referendum, or by the City Council directly or indirectly in connection with any proposed initiative or referendum, such New Rule shall not apply to the Property or Project. The Parties, however, acknowledge that the City’s approval of this Agreement and one or more of the Project Approvals are legislative actions subject to referendum.
