General Provisions for Voluntary Transfer. A. The major consideration in the transfer of personnel shall be the contribution to the programs of the district. B. Except for extenuating circumstances, unit members will not be voluntarily transferred into positions which become vacant for the next school year after August 15. C. Declared vacancies for the subsequent school year will be posted as described in Section 11.1 until the end of the school year. During the summer break, the Human Resources Department will maintain current listings of vacancies at the district office and on the district website.
