General Relationship Between the Parties. The relationship between the parties is that of independent contractor. The parties to this Agreement do not intend, and nothing herein shall be interpreted so as, to create a partnership, joint venture or employee relationship between NTM and any one or more of Navios Maritime Midstream or any member of the Midstream Group. NTM will carry out the Services in respect of the Vessels as agents for and on behalf of Navios Maritime Midstream.
