General Travel Conditions. The parties recognize that it is sometimes inconvenient to get to the job location because of varying distances. It is agreed and understood that while traveling to and from work in employee-owned vehicles, the employees are not within the course and scope of their employment and the relationship of Employer- employee does not commence until the hourly wage commences. (a) Overnight travel: When an employee is required to travel out of town, the employee shall receive per diem for room and board based on the IRS allowable for the city they travel to.
