Board and Lodging. (While fighting Company Responsibility Fires)
a) Employees who commute from home or camp are expected to ‘carry a lunch’. Additional meals where required will be at Company expense.
b) Employees required to live away from their private residence will receive board and lodging at Company expense.
c) Employees living in fly camps will receive board and lodging at Company expense.
Board and Lodging. Article 9.01 The Company will provide Board and Lodging when an employee cannot reasonably return to his/her place of residence at the conclusion of the working day or shift. Employees who elect to provide their own Board and Lodging shall be provided an allowance of fifty dollars ($50.00) in lieu of same. Employees who elect to provide their own accommodation shall receive the aforementioned allowance each day they are assigned and report at the work location that attracts a room and board requirement.
Article 9.02 Construction camps requiring eating, sleeping, ablution, laundry and recreation facilities that are set up for employees shall generally conform to the provisions set out in the Camp Rules and Regulations covering B.C. and Yukon Territory and the Amalgamated Building and Construction Trades’ Council and the Amalgamated Construction Association of B.C. as amended from time to time, with the exception that two (2) compatible persons may be assigned to a room.
Board and Lodging. When the Employer provides camp or board and lodging, the basic wage scale will be observed and the rate for camp and board and lodging will not exceed $3.00 per day to be paid by the employee. Any costs over $3.00 per day will be absorbed by the Employer. The applicable travel shall apply on the first and last day of employment, with the exception that should the employee quit of his/her own volition prior to five (5) days employment, travel expenses shall be allowed for the first day only. Jobs in remote areas where camp or board and lodging is not provided and housing is inadequate or cost for housing is prohibitive, the Employer will make every effort to arrange for housing at reasonable rates for his/her employees.
Board and Lodging. The following class of employees, when not on travel status, and under the conditions stated, shall be entitled to board and lodging supplied by the Employer in either Employer-operated camps or by means of local community service:
(1) stationary" employees assigned to a temporary headquarters;
(2) seasonal field" employees assigned to a temporary headquarters.

Board and Lodging. (1) The charge for full board and lodging provided to an employee by the employer shall be $9.30 per night.
(2) Where the employer provides meals only to an employee the following charges shall apply: $ Lunch and dinner 3.62
(3) An accredited representative of The Australian Nursing Federation, Industrial Union of Workers, Perth, shall be entitled to inspect such food and accommodation at reasonable times.
(4) An employee shall not be charged for board and lodging when absent from the school for more than one day on annual leave, sick leave, long service or leave without pay.
(5) By agreement with the employee the amounts prescribed in subclauses (1) and (2) of this clause may be deducted from the salary of the employee.
(6) Future increases in board and lodging charges shall be adjusted in accordance with increases awarded under the current principles of wage fixation.
